about me

I am a loving husband to my wife, Andreana, and a proud father of two. My wife and I have been married for 19 years and we have called Princeton home since July of 2013. We fell in love with this city from the moment we got here. My children have attended the schools in Princeton for majority of their lives. My daughter is a junior and plays varsity soccer for the girls’ soccer team at PHS. My son started 6th grade this year at Southard and is very involved in athletics and is starting band this year. The love I have for my family flows into the love I have for community. I believe that it takes a village to make almost anything successful and that’s what I’m hoping to bring to Princeton if elected. Together we can make this city an amazing place for anyone to call home and do business.

I am a teacher/head girls soccer coach at Princeton High School. I am a team lead at my church and I put 100% of myself into everything I do. I served on the Home Rule Charter Commission for the city of Princeton as well. These roles show how much this city means to me and the work I’m willing to put in to make it amazing.

When I’m not working I love spending time outdoors. I’m an avid hunter and fisherman. My family and I enjoy camping, working out and taking bike rides. Soccer is by far what we spend most of our time doing.

I am dedicated to making Princeton great and working with all entities within the city to make this a city that everyone is happy to call home. I would greatly appreciate your support and vote for Ryan Gerfers for Princeton City Council, Place 4.
